Foreclosures keep climbing. People are out of jobs. So we start off with MIA’s “Paper Planes” — a song about those living on the edges of society. We get a bit more lighthearted later, with our interview on Old Spice’s ad campaign – think studmuffins and viral videos. The Dazz Band’s “Let it Whip” felt right. And also on this show, the Skatalites “Knock Out Punch,” Wolf Parade’s new track “What Did My Lover Say? (It Always Had to Go This Way), and Digital Disko by Eliot Lipp.
