Not so dead after all, say the good people and the Pew Center for the People and the Press. A survey out this weekend shows we’re spending exactly the same amount of time every day getting the news from newspapers, television and radio — 57 minutes — as we did 10 years ago. Add in the 13 minutes a day we’re online finding out what’s going on and we’re as news-savvy as we’ve been in 15 years.
Now, as to who’s paying for that online news? That’s a whole different story.
