We heard from Stephen Beard about Roll Royce’s woes with their super jumbo engines. Though mechanical problems have plagued the product, China has agreed to buy more.
We heard from Alex Goldmark in the finale of our Future of Transportation series. He discussed the nation’s growth in high speed rails, and the replacement of commuter flight routes.
And GM posted earnings of $2 billion in revenue.
We discussed the punishment of white collar crimes in our piece about the KB home scandal.
The U.S. Supreme Court will hear a case between AT&T Mobility and Concepcion, regarding the fine print in AT&T’s contracts barring consumers to join a class action lawsuit against the company.
Google is giving all of its employees a 10 percent raise. To keep its top talent from searching for jobs elsewhere.
And finally — The G20 starts tomorrow. Who will come out on top, the U.S. or China?
