On today’s show, we took a look at how nonprofit organizations are using social media as a way to raise funds, promote missions and even recruit professionals as volunteers. In Cancun, China announced plans to try and reduce growth of its carbon emissions. As President Obama explained his reasoning for compromise over the tax cuts — that it would allow for some breathing room to look at long-term solutions to the deficit, we looked at what those solutions may be. More subprime borrowers got auto loans in the last quarter. UPS will start checking IDs for shipping packages. A ruling in the Frank and Jamie McCourt divorce case may put Jamie in part-ownership.
