Who hasn’t bought something before and completely regretted it afterward? Tess visited a class where these regrets, and the reasons we buy things, were brought to the forefront. A lot of buyer’s remorse can bring you a lot of debt, maybe enough to qualify you for a debt makeover show. Sean Cole went behind the scenes of the Canadian reality show “‘Til Debt Do Us Part” and discovered a crewmember who happened to be struggling with her own debt problems. Tess got some tax tips from tax agent Frank Degen, Ron Leiber from the New York Times outlined the fine rules of shopping at big-box discount warehouses. Speaking of rules, there was also an interview with Emily Yoffe, Slate’s Dear Prudence columnist, reviewing the importance of RSVPs, especially during this holiday season. And here are the songs we played:
- A Forest – The CureBuy
- So Rich, So Pretty – Mickey AvalonBuy
- But Not Tonight – Dossiers Secrets
- Material Girl – MadonnaBuy
- Everybody – MadonnaBuy
- Party All the Time – Eddie MurphyBuy
