We all scoffed when it was announced that pop entity Lady Gaga had been named as a creative director at Minnesota-based Polaroid. Personally, while scoffing, I hoped that she’d actually show up 9 to 5 out here, have lunch with co-workers at Applebee’s, drive a Camry or something. But the publicity stunt collaboration has produced some product that got showed off at CES. The Grey Line consists of three items: sunglasses that let you take pictures of what you see directly from the (I’m sure very comfortable to wear) glasses, a printer for printing out what you just looked at/photographed, and a digital camera. The printer and camera don’t use ink cartridges, instead they heat up crystals built into the paper. Lord Gaga could not be reached for comment but I’m sure he wishes his wife well.
