Right now when you get a new Verizon iPhone, you get unlimited use of the data network. It’s always been clear, however, that this plan was only for a limited time. Now we find out that it will expire this summer (which actually means the whole option lasted a lot longer than I thought it would). It doesn’t take much extrapolation to connect a summer end of unlimited data with the anticipated summer release of the new iPhone 5. Will that phone be much more of a data network hog? Or just a big seller? Don’t know. But now that the iPad 2 is coming out, we can start obsessing over the next Apple device. Because we’re all mindless zombies commanded by Cupertino.
