The S&P warned it could lower the U.S. credit rating if the government can’t come up with a plan to cut the federal deficit. T Rowe Price changed the private investing game today when it announced that it owned nearly $200 million of shares in Facebook, and it has put some of those share into its mutual funds. The U.S. Supreme Court is looking at a case involving the right to sue power companies over their greenhouse gas emissions. It’s the one-year anniversary of the BP oil spill, and we looked at why drilling took place miles under the ocean in the first place.
