Bing and Blackberry team up in a collaboration that is not sad at all

John Moe May 4, 2011

Microsoft’s Bing, the John Oates of search engines, has teamed up with Research In Motion’s Blackberry, Pittsburgh Pirates of device makers, on a deal to make Bing a more prominent presence on Blackberrys. Bing will be the “preferred” search engine on Blackberry browsers and all new devices will ship with Bing as the default for search and for mapping. Microsoft is also apparently making a big investment in Research In Motion. Could we be seeing a binding together of the Windows Phone platform and the Blackberry platform?
