You can talk to a live parrot on the internet if you really want to

John Moe May 6, 2011

Because maybe you do. Hey, who am I to judge? Weirdo. A German phone maker has a promotion going on Facebook where you can chat with a live parrot. It’s meant to advertise their phone or something. The bird – there are actually three birds, they go in shifts – are available 10 hours a day, 6am to 4pm eastern time through May 9th. Poor Amanda Kooser from CNET attempted a phone interview with one of them here. She found that it didn’t want to talk about the phone it was selling, it mostly just wanted to talk about chocolate and dogs.
