Thursday is the 10th anniversary of the Apple retail store and something seems to be up to mark the occasion. BGR.com says that it’s going to go down this weekend as each store will have 10-15 employees working an overnight shift starting late Saturday. Employees will have to lock their cell phones in an office during that time and sign non-disclosure agreements. Curtains will go up over the store windows. Shipments of new….something… are reportedly already at the stores but are being kept under lock and key until this weekend. I guess we’ll know soon enough. Better just start lining up now and convincing yourself it will be really great.
Meanwhile, Apple is posting a job opening for a “carrier engineer” in Kansas City. Why Kansas City? Sprint is based in Kansas City and speculation is abounding that this means a Sprint iPhone is just around the corner.
