Tyler and Cameron Winklevoss, aka the Winklevii, have dropped their lawsuit against Facebook. This comes as a shock to all those people who thought this whole thing was resolved a long time ago. The Winklevii accepted a 2008 deal that gave them $20 million in cash and stock worth tens of millions more. The Guardian puts the total payout as being worth about $150 million. These guys were already rich before and now they’re richer. And where are you reading this memo? At work. Where you have to go.
Also, Aaron Sorkin announced that he’s quitting Facebook. He says he only used it to research writing “The Social Network” but got creeped out by stalkers.
