Bjork’s new release best viewed on an iPad shaped like a swan

John Moe Jun 30, 2011

Bjork’s new record/art project will be accompanied by ten iPad apps
. It’s called “Biophilia” and is described as “an album whose songs interweave natural and musicological themes, interpreted in lectures, software and performance.”

You’ll be able to buy Biophilia on a CD or as a download provided, of course, that you are a total square who can’t get with the times, man. But the, er, album(?) (don’t know what else to call it) (thingie?) (bjork of art?) will also be available as ten different apps, one for each song. The apps will feature “interactive games, musical animations, animated scores, lyrics and academic essays.” Just what I want with my Bjork: academic essays!

Aha! Another excuse to put this video on here!
