Codebreaker

Threat by Anonymous to destroy Facebook on 11/5 is probably a hoax.

John Moe Aug 10, 2011

Hogwash, hooey, shenanigans. Yesterday, there were lots of reports of a YouTube video that claimed to be from the anonymous hacking group known as Anonymous saying that Facebook would be hacked to bits on November 5th. The video was on a new YouTube account and was actually posted on July 16th but just got media attention yesterday. But as veteran Anonymous watchers soon noted, the group made no such claim on any of its regular websites and Twitter feeds. Furthermore, the video appeared to lack the same production values as other Anonymous products.
