No, it’s not a 70s band relying heavily on Moog synthesizers, it’s a new phone from Samsung and it’s the first to have Ice Cream Sandwich included (alas, it does not have an actual ice cream sandwich included).
Here are the specs, in case you’re a fan of specs:
As with all Nexus phones, the Galaxy Nexus boasts some impressive specifications. The smartphone features a 1.2 gigahertz dual-core processor, a 4.65-inch Super AMOLED HD screen with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels, 1GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, and a pronounced curved shape that is intended to cradle the face. There’s a a 5-megapixel camera, a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera for video chats, and support for 1080p HD video capture and playback. Samsung says that its camera experiences zero shutter lag.
Aaaaand Motorola’s new Droid RAZR debuts too. Motorola revived the RAZR name with a new phone (running on the old Gingerbread operating system) on Verizon. Unless I’m mistaken, this new phone seems to win the race for lightest, thinnest smartphone, weighing in at 127 grams or 4.48 ounces.
