IPhone 4S battery trouble

Marc Sanchez Nov 1, 2011

Are we going to have another antennagate on our hands? If your memory stretches waaaay back to the summer of 2010, you’ll recall that the then-new iPhone 4 had a bit of an issue with dropped calls in the event that a finger would touch the side of the phone. Apple tried to spin it for a while but then ended up giving everyone a free case. Now the issue seems to be battery life. Owners of the brand new iPhone 4S are reporting that the battery just doesn’t seem to last very long. Maybe it’s the artificial intelligence (“Siri, why are you drinking my battery?”)

Complaints are piling up in Apple’s online support forum but Apple has so far said nothing. There have also been some complaints from iPhone 4 users, leading to speculation that the culprit could be the iOS 5 operating system and not the device itself.
