Heartbreak Hotel: Lil Wayne passes Elvis for Billboard record
This final note today, which comes in the form of a question. What do you suppose Elvis Presley and the rapper Lil Wayne have in common?
Not a whole lot, except spending a whole lot of time on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
Until today the King had the record — 108 appearances in the top 100. Billboard Magazine said today that “Celebration” by The Game increases Lil Wayne’s appearances on the list to 109.
Thing is, it’s not actually Lil Wayne’s song. He’s a featured artist on the track — a guest rapper, if you will. Still, a record’s a record.
