This final note about flu shots. Which comes, I should tell you, with the admission that I have not yet gotten mine.
The CDC said today the shot this year is “moderately effective” against this year’s strain. Sixty-two percent effective, to be precise — which the director of the CDC said today should be translated as making you 62 percent less likely to get sick.
The flu’s now widespread in 47 states.
So it’s coming to wherever you are.
And I am going to the drugstore this weekend.
