The tonnage of trash that must be imported to Oslo, Norway, to feed its trash-powered energy system. The head of Oslo’s waste-to-energy agency says he’d love to get some from the United States. Shipping garbage by sea is relatively cheap, he says, as long as you don’t spill it on the way. (Gizmodo)
