Samsung says it’s made a 5G breakthrough

Samsung says it has made a breakthrough on mobile technology. The electronics company says it can now transmit large amounts of data using a higher frequency band. What does that mean? We’ve already got 3G and 4G networks — and now, here comes 5G. Samsung says we could see a commercial 5G network by 2020. But while transferring mountains of data at high speeds is great, consumers will also need the hardware to can handle the high speed.
