Common app woes plague students applying to college
Users of the Common Application, the online application high school seniors all over the country use to try and get into a number of colleges and universities, have been experiencing major issues this month. The one-size-fits-all application has been around since the 70s, but this year it’s had a major digital revamp — and major digital glitches just in time for application deadlines. Christoph Guttentag, dean of undergraduate admissions at Duke University, tells Marketplace Tech about the fiasco.
