This final note on the way out today in which, well, I dunno. I’m just going to let y’all decide.
The outpatient children’s clinic at the University of North Carolina has been renamed.
A total of $2 million to support the clinic has been pledged by the Krispy Kreme Challenge. (It is, to be clear, a student-run charity based at North Carolina State University in support of the clinic.)
The challenge is to run 2 1/2 miles, eat a dozen Krispy Kremes, then run another 2 1/2 miles.
So now the clinic will be called the Krispy Kreme Challenge Children’s Specialty Clinic.
I mean, I like a good Krispy Kreme as much as the next guy (only when they’re hot, of course). But this….
