Chipotle’s third-quarter earnings were not so hot recently. A graph of its stock over the past week or so looks like a playground slide. The restaurant chain is dealing with an E. coli outbreak. And beyond that, big questions are being raised about its supply chain. High-quality ingredients have always been a part of Chipotle’s sales pitch. Roberto Ferdman covers food and economics for the Washington Post. He spoke to Lizzie O’Leary about what this means for the future of fast food.
