Hoverboards take a dive

Back in December, that’s the percentage of imported hoverboards in the UK that were found to have failed basic safety inspections. Now, Amazon has begun to pull many hoverboards from its site, citing safety concerns. As the Guardian writes, the devices are largely made in China before being purchased by resellers for cosmetic treatment.

As BBC Tech writes, the technology could eventually be used to create “screens on demand.”
