Demand is on the New Year’s Eve menu in Times Square
Going out on New Year’s Eve is always expensive.
But going out in Times Square in New York City … crazy.
According to the New York Post, a meal at Olive Garden in Times Square will set you back $400 per person. And that doesn’t guarantee you a view of the ball drop. Or breadsticks.
You’ll pay about $800 each to eat at Bubba Gump Shrimp; $449 at The Counter for mini burgers and fries.
It’s supply and demand in action, I guess.
But, I can think of a lot of things I’d rather do with a thousand dollars than eat salmon and pasta at Buca di Beppo with my significant other.
