Bill would reduce numbers of legal immigrants
Two Republican senators are working on a bill that would radically alter the rules on legal immigration to the U.S. That’s according to an article in Politico, which reports that the bill would have President Trump’s support. The measure would cut legal immigration into the country in half, by 2027. That’s in line with one major Trump promise — but it could be at odds with another.
