Ukraine has been at the center of the impeachment inquiry in the United States. But Ukraine is climbing out of a deep recession, and one of the government’s biggest tasks is trying to improve the economy. The country is suffering from brain drain as Ukrainians seek higher paying jobs abroad. A lack of foreign investors, often wary of the country’s corrupt reputation, has also inhibited economic growth.
