In St-Tropez, the pandemic has muted the summer club scene
Summer is the time when many of the world’s rich and famous descend on the French Mediterranean town of St-Tropez to party. But this year, most nightclubs are closed due to the pandemic. At the nightclub the VIP Room, the garden bar and restaurant is open, but the club section is shut. The pandemic has been a big challenge for club owners who are trying to figure out how to survive. But it has created opportunities for others: Some small businesses have found a way to offer outdoor venues for partying.
