Homeownership rates grow but disparities remain
30-year mortgages are running above 7%. That’s down from 8% in October, but not the 3% to 4% range we used to see. The National Association of Realtors has a report showing that from 2012 to 2022, homeownership swelled. The realtors also break this data down by race.
